The USS SAN FRANCISCO (CA-38) log dated 2/10/47 08-12 period. Moored as before. 0805 mustered crew at quarters. Absentees none. 1010 Pursuant to orders of Commander Philadelphia Group Atlantic Reserve Fleet, Serial #236 of 5 February 1947; the USS SAN FRANCISCO (CA-38) was placed "out of commission in Reserve."
